I woke up this morning to hear that my movie pick for treasure hunt 2025 won best movie. I'm very lucky for this and also very grateful, thanks to judges who voted this as best movie. Also check out the tribune post, it's a good read. Check out the movie itself it's really good .
In other news:
I'm still doing animation stuff surprisingly, turns out I kinda like it. Getting to the main point now, I've used Flipnote studio 3D and while I love it as a software, I'm not a fan of the 3DS's small battery life and I imagine that would be a big pain if I want to make longer animations in the future. This all lead me to downloading Flash 8, another simple software from what I've heard. I experimented with it and while I found it confusing at first in terms of the animation, I eventually figured it out and decided to do the 12 animation principles for a simple understanding of how animation works but also so I could have some basic experience to make a conversational animation, which would be unlike the spastic animations I've made before. I'm almost wrapped up with the principles and they've been fun so far, after that I'll be conceptualizing more about that conversational animation I have in mind and I hope to get a good use of the principles but also my imagination and sense of humor in a different format.
Also, if you've been paying attention and listening to them, I have only 12 more improv skits left to make. After that they are finished for good.
That's all, Godspeed to everyone, especially if you found this post :)
